Preparing for Christmas

On December 2nd we went with some of our closest friends to pick out a Christmas tree. This is the third year Mommy and Daddy have gone, but it was my first time. It was so much fun! I giggled and squealed with delight as we walked through the groves of trees, and when Mommy and Daddy found the perfect tree, I clapped to express my approval. I also picked this same day to start waving to people. I don't always do it when people want me to, but I do it when it will make me happy. It was hard to spend all day being carried, held, and put in a car seat because I am now the expert crawler, but I was quite patient. Actually, more than anything, I now like to stand and cruise around on furniture, people's legs, and whatever else I can use to make myself vertical. I am very much looking forward to showing off my new skills to family members coming to visit me during Christmas. I will turn nine months old the day they leave to go back to Jamestown! I can't wait for Christmas!
